As a Manager at Nine Advisory, you will have flexibility to work from home two days per week and also the added flexibility when other requirements arise.

We have also just moved into brand-new offices near Circular Quay in no the CBD.

About the role:

Candidates must hold a CPA or CA qualification to be considered for this position.

You will be responsible for the successful management of our accounting team and the number of smiles we see on the faces of our customers and our staff!

A minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience is required for this Manager role.

Australian work authorisation is required for this role.

Candidates must have 5+ years of team management experience.

You are not interested in what other accountants do or what the industry 'norm' is;

You are obsessed with customer service and over-delivering;

You are a self-starter and will work closely with our founder in a flexible, high growth and an entrepreneurial working environment;

Specifically, you will need to ensure that work is properly allocated, completed and delivered BEFORE we promised it to our customer. You will also be responsible for coordinating a portfolio of clients and supervising the production team to ensure a high level of customer service and quality service provision. You will also be ensuring the technical accuracy of the team's work for presentation to your supervisor. You will carry out a whole range of customer service work including one-off projects, reviewing staff work and mentoring Accountants and Bookkeepers and grow the business knowledge bank. This position will also contribute to the development of tools and resources, systemisation and policies & procedures for the business.

About Nine Advisory:

We started in August 2017 with 3 staff and less than $100k in fees and have grown to over 25 staff. We take a more focused approach to our clients and as such we have a much smaller client list than the average accounting practice - which is great because we can give much more tailored and customised advice to our clients - and that's what they love. We are proactive, not reactive. We are heavy users of the latest technology.

Proficiency across multiple accounting software platforms is essential for this role.
