About the role

As the Council Applications and Design Coordinator at IMAGINE KIT HOMES', you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our custom-built kit homes. Based in our Loganholme, Queensland office, this full-time position will see you coordinating the council application process and overseeing the design phase of our projects.

What you'll be doing

Liaise with local councils to prepare and submit all necessary development applications

Manage the application process, including responding to requests for additional information

Work closely with our design team to ensure council requirements are met in the final plans

Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their application

Assist with the preparation of construction documentation and approvals

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our application and design processes

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar council approvals or design coordination role, ideally within the residential construction industry

Strong understanding of local government planning and building regulations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Proficient in using design and project management software

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as town planning or building design
