We are seeking an experienced Cafe Cook to join our team at Ivan's Pies' in Braeside, VIC. This full-time role will be an integral part of our cafe re-launch, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of delicious and high-quality dishes to excite and delight our loyal customer base.

About the Role

As our Café Cook, you’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, preparing high-quality, consistent food that keeps our customers coming back. From pies and pastries to breakfasts and light meals, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything that leaves our kitchen looks great and tastes even better.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to a high standard.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.

Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and food storage.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen management standards.

Work with the Café Manager to develop daily specials and seasonal menu ideas.

Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

Previous cooking or café kitchen experience, ideally where you were the lead cook.

A passion for fresh food, pies, and pastries.

Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.

A team-player attitude and good communication skills.

Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends.
