THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is seeking a General Manager (GM) to manager a high end purpose built Build-to-Rent residential property comprising of over 400 modern apartments in a new community hub, boasting an abundance of lifestyle amenities. As the GM you will be responsible to lead, develop and direct a newly established property team. The expectation of the role is to maintain the high level of quality and efficiency expected of the national brand name and provide world class service to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the net operating income and the overall financial performance of the building.
• Become a market leading GM within the Build to Rent industry, utilising the progress and knowledge already acquired by the organising.
• The role requires a leader to be visual and present across all stakeholders and maintain relationships to optimise partnerships for mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Executive General Manager and Leasing Manager to ensure occupancy is kept in line within budgets and occupancy targets.
• Be financially astute to lead the preparation of property financial budgets, reports and strategic direction.

ABOUT YOU

• You will have valid Full Class 1 Real Estate Licence for Victoria or a Victorian Agents Licsense
• Extensive property management experience is required, specifically in operational manager in the property sector.
• Have demonstrable experience in a leadership role where impactful and positive change was made.
• A strong commercial and financial understanding is required to maximise property performance and deliver outstanding experiences for our residents.
• Communication and empathy is required to build relationships and foster long term trust with external and internal stakeholders.
