Our client located in Brunswick is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join their highly regarded firm. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 7–10 years of end-to-end conveyancing experience who is confident running complex files, providing high-level client service, and mentoring junior team members.
You will be joining a modern and progressive office known for its commitment to quality service. This position offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of files while playing a key role in shaping and leading the team, ensuring best practice and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a wide range of residential and commercial conveyancing files from initial instruction through to settlement
- Prepare contracts, conduct pre-purchase contract reviews, and handle complex settlements
- Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, and other key stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Handle e-conveyancing transactions using PEXA and Duties Online
- Prepare and lodge documents with Land Use Victoria
- Calculate and finalise settlement adjustments, including rates, taxes, and utilities
- Oversee compliance requirements and manage all critical deadlines
- Mentor, train, and support junior conveyancers and administrative staff
- Assist with process improvements and contribute to overall team and firm growth
- Provide regular updates to Directors and contribute to firm strategy where required
About You:
- 7–10 years’ proven experience as a Conveyancer running files independently
- Strong leader with the ability to mentor, guide, and inspire junior staff
- Conveyancing licence preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex matters
- High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Professional presentation with a collaborative, positive attitude
