About the role:

We are now recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join our busy Manufacturing Operations based in Landsdale on a permanent basis. This role represents a real career growth opportunity for the right candidate as our business continues to expand.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Ensuring a safe workplace, identifying, and addressing risks appropriately and demonstrating positive safety behaviour.

Executing maintenance activities according to the weekly work schedule and unscheduled work as required.

Executing preventative mechanical maintenance inspections on factory equipment.

Executing basic machining tasks, hydraulic and pneumatic system fault finding and equipment rebuild/refurbishments.

Assisting in the developing and enhancing task-lists, work procedures and instructions.

Hours of work: 2 week rotating roster AM / PM shift.

AM Shift: 5am - 1:30pm Monday to Thursday, 5am - 11am Friday

PM Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm - Monday to Thursday, 12pm - 6pm Friday (shift loading applies)

About your experience:

You are a results focused Maintenance Fitter with experience within manufacturing operations. With a strong focus on safety and quality, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and supervisors. This is a great opportunity for Mechanical Fitter to grow and develop their career within this dynamic industry.

Skills and experience:

Trade Qualified – Tool and Die Maker and or fitter / machinist.

Minimum 3 year’s experience within a fixed plant manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of WHS&E requirements and safe work practices.

Press tool experience highly regarded.

Competent welding and fabrication skills.

Competent mechanical knowledge of industrial manufacturing plant and machinery - exposure to roll forming plant highly regarded.

Knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems.

Exposure to automated manufacturing equipment highly regarded.

LF forklift ticket (desirable)
