Randstad are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a role which is 70% FIFO and 30% Perth based. This is an opportunity for an experienced FIFO worker, or someone who wants to get their foot in the door of the FIFO industry.

Our client specialises in hydraulic systems for fixed plant equipment such as brakes, clutches and power units.

While based in Perth, your role will be to perform overhauls on the hydraulic systems that come back from site. The FIFO based side of the role will be scheduled shutdown maintenance which you will be made aware of the scheduling 6-8 weeks in advance.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements

• Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Have hydraulics experience
• Full working rights in Australia already in place as sponsorship not available
• Able to pass a full medical and drug/alcohol screen

On offer is a package of around $180k on target earnings, made up of base salary $100k, plus penalty rates for overtime (including when FIFO) and a $100 per day site allowance when working FIFO.
