Short Order Cook – Dinner Service

About the Role
Good Cartel is hiring a skilled Short Order Cook to join our dinner service team in Broome. This role is all about organisation, speed and quality — knowing when to turn it up in the service rush, and delivering consistency for every docket, even in off-peak times.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain short order stations.

Follow established processes for each menu item.

Communicate prep needs & issues with the prep supervisor.

Clean and pack down the kitchen at the end of service.

Key Details

38 hours per week.

Pay: $34.50 per hour + 1.5x overtime.

6–12 month contract.

What We’re Looking For

Coachable and able to work within established processes.

Passionate about delivering quality work under pressure.

Minimum commitment: 6 months (12 months preferred).

1 month probationary period applies.
