About the role

This is a part-time opportunity for Female Disability Support Worker to join the team at The Sensory House Pty Ltd, located in Lockleys SA 5032. In this role, you will be responsible for providing in-home and community-based support to a female participant with disability, enabling them to participate actively in their local community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with daily living activities and personal care as required

Accompanying and supporting client to participate in community, social and recreational activities

Facilitating and encouraging client independence, choice and control

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records

Contributing to the development and implementation of client support plans

Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures and code of conduct

What we're looking for

A relevant qualification in Disability Support, Community Services or a related field

Demonstrated experience working with people with disability in a community setting

Demonstrated experience working with people with disability in-home

Able to work with high complex needs

Commitment to promoting client independence, rights and choices

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Current driver's licence

Must have own ABN

Satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Open to candidates of any work status, including Australian citizens, permanent residents, and those with valid work visas
