Who We’re Looking For
We’re on the hunt for a talented and motivated 2IC Chef to support our Head Chef and lead the team from the line. You’ll thrive under pressure, bring creativity and consistency to every plate, and keep the kitchen humming no matter what Bruny throws at us. Calm under pressure, you’ll keep the team motivated and deliver food you’re proud to put your name to.
The Role
As our Second-in-Charge Chef, you’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, running daily operations, mentoring junior chefs, and ensuring every dish that leaves the pass meets the Hotel Bruny standard. You’ll assist with menu development, stock control, and rostering, while also stepping up to cover when the Head Chef is away. Together, you and the Head Chef will set the tone for the whole kitchen — professional, supportive, and passionate about great food.
