The role involves:

• Drafting responses to Ministers and preparing Business Communications.
• Advising the Executive Director and Senior Managers on communication protocols.
• Researching and preparing responses for complex Ministerial matters.
• Developing initial responses for Ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, speech notes, media statements, parliamentary questions, and other high-level communications.
• Coordinating updates to agency briefing notes for Budget Estimates, Cabinet meetings, and other requirements.
• Supervising employees.

About you:

• Government Ministerial and Communications experience is mandatory.
• Parliamentary knowledge is essential.
• Comfortable leading teams and directing job flow.
• The ability to hit the ground running, positive and engaging.
• Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
