We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Creative Grants Partnership Officer to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As the Creative Grants Partnership Officer, you will play a key role in realising Council’s arts and culture strategic objectives by managing, implementing, and assessing a diverse and evolving investment program. Your primary focus will be to increase grant revenue opportunities through strong engagement with State and Federal agencies. You will oversee Council’s cultural grant application processes, supporting high-quality submissions, delivering training, driving continuous improvement, and measuring impact and value. This includes managing the Regional Arts Development Fund, Resource and Performance Agreements and In-Kind Assistance in our region.
You will work to harness the unique power of arts and culture to create measurable outcomes that enrich the Cairns region, developing programs that activate and grow the branch’s core business and strategic goals.
What We Are Looking For:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and demonstrated experience and significant achievement in funding and sponsorship in the Australian Arts and Cultural field.
Demonstrated project management skills and demonstrate ability to provide strategic advice and recommendations to management team and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in writing high-quality grant submissions, tenders and expressions of interest.
Demonstrated ability to provide responsible financial management, including demonstrated experience with acquitting funding applications.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, individuals, organisations and departments.
