Residential Estimator

Our client is a WA owned residential construction company who is looking to add a Residential Estimator to their growing team, who provides services to a variety of clients, from First Home Buyers to Luxury Homes. This role is available as a result of increased client demand and company expansion.

What will this position entail?

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential homes and unit developments.
• Interpreting plans, specifications, and engineering reports to compile accurate costings.
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing.
• Creating BOQs and tender documentation for internal and client use.
• Working with internal departments to finalise pre-construction budgets and handovers.
• Maintaining and updating pricing databases and estimation tools.
• Ensuring all estimates comply with building regulations and company standards.

How can I be successful?

• 5+ years' experience in residential estimating, ideally with sufficient knowledge with single and double-storey home builds, unit developments, and / or custom designs.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Full Australian working rights and reliable transport to and from work.
