The Role

A State Government department is seeking a capable Governance & Risk Officer (VPS4) to provide governance, risk and secretariat support. In this role you'll deliver secretariat and contract administration support, manage governance and risk reporting deliverables, draft clear correspondence, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. This is an initial 6 month contract with a potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide governance, secretariat and risk administration support.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes.
• Monitor and coordinate governance and risk deliverables.
• Build collaborative relationships with executives and stakeholders.

About You:

• Background in governance, secretariat or risk administration.
• Skilled in preparing high-quality agendas, papers and reports.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience in governance frameworks and compliance desirable.
