The Role

As a Cook at Drifter Melbourne, you’ll do more than just put food on plates. You’ll help shape the energy and experience of our space. It’s a hands-on role dedicated to bringing great food and experiences to our guests. Whether it’s running a smooth brekkie service, special events or evening meals, you’ll be trusted to bring creativity, efficiency and positivity to the team.

Your day-to-day includes:

• Prepping and serving food to Drifter’s high standards

• Keeping equipment and workspaces spotless and safe

• Answering guest and team questions with confidence

• Maintaining compliance – keeping across food safety, allergen handling and workplace health requirements

• Pitching in wherever needed, dishes included

Who We’re Looking For

A team player who can work autonomously – you have big ideas and get that communication is key.

You thrive in a busy kitchen, you’re flexible and keep cool under pressure.

You’re confident, flexible and quick to adapt.

You care about quality and consistency as much as the people you work alongside.

Shifts may run weekdays, evenings and weekends as well as public holidays. Your availability plays a big part towards the success of this role.
