Safe Debt Management, part of the Safe Financial group of companies, has been helping Australians overcome financial challenges for over 20 years. As a Registered Debt Agreement Administrator with the Australian Financial Security Authority, we work with clients to become debt free through Informal Debt Agreements, Part IX Debt Agreements, and debt consolidation loans.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Debt Agreement Consultant / Assessor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives — without the pressure of hard selling.

What You’ll Be Doing

Consult with clients to assess their situation and recommend the right informal debt management or brokered loan solutions

Build respectful, non-judgmental relationships with people from all walks of life

Gather financial information and supporting documents to prepare proposals

Manage compliance requirements and ensure all agreements are realistic and sustainable

Deliver outstanding customer service with a professional, supportive phone manner

About You

You may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Informal Debt Agreements

Part IX Debt Agreements

Insolvency or Hardship Solutions

Finance Broking / Credit Approvals

You’ll also bring:

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Confidence using computer systems and a willingness to learn quickly

A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to help clients succeed
