Metal Biz Recyclers is one of Queensland’s leading metal recycling companies, with three branches across Brisbane. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Weighbridge Operators / Office Administrators to join our team, based at our Rocklea and Stapylton sites.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of the weighbridge, customer service, and general office administration tasks. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain weighbridge equipment to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing materials.

Record and document all weight measurements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Liaise with truck drivers and site staff to ensure smooth site operations.

Assist customers with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Generate daily transaction reports and maintain accurate records.

Provide general administrative support related to weighbridge operations.

Follow safety and environmental regulations to promote a safe workplace.

About You

Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar role is desirable (training provided for the right candidate).

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident using basic computer systems for data entry and reporting.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Knowledge of recycling or environmental practices will be highly regarded.
