About the role
This Accounts Receivable Officer role sits within the finance team, reporting to the Financial Accountant, who I have placed! You’ll be responsible for customer invoicing, collections, and reporting, while working closely with internal teams to resolve queries and support process improvements. Perfect for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and process customer invoices, credit notes, and statements
• Manage the accounts receivable ledger with accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding debtors, with weekly and monthly reporting
• Handle customer billing queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues
• Process monthly direct debits, credit card charges, and customer refunds
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting

Skills and Experience

• Solid foundation in accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
• Experience with accounting systems (Dynamics 365, Xero, MYOB, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Problem-solving ability with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Adaptable and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
