About Us

Opening late October 2025, Hahndorf Brezelhaus is a brand-new café and bakery in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, just 25 minutes from Adelaide. Operated by the local team behind two successful venues in Hahndorf, we’re bringing a fresh concept to life: handcrafted pretzels, artisan breads, pastries, and an all-day menu featuring seasonal breakfasts and lunch offerings.

We’re building a talented kitchen team from the ground up and are seeking passionate cooks who want to be part of something new and exciting.

About the Role

We are seeking Cooks with solid all-round kitchen experience and a passion for quality food.

As part of our opening team, you will:

Work closely with a tight-knit kitchen team to deliver a consistently high standard of food

Assist in preparing and executing a seasonal breakfast and lunch menu

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times

Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials

Support with training and mentoring junior staff as the team grows

Maintain stock rotation, kitchen organisation, and quality control

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who are:

Experienced in breakfast and lunch service, with strong all-round cookery skills

Skilled at working in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment

Knowledgeable in food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance

Experienced with at least 2–3 years in the industry

Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

Creative, consistent, and passionate about producing great-tasting, well-presented dishes

Team players who can also take initiative and work independently
