The Company:

My client is a well-established South Australian civil construction contractor with a solid reputation in the industry and a diverse client portfolio, they are experiencing strong growth, with multiple active projects, as a result, they are looking to expand their team.

With clients such as state government, power providers, SA water and Tier 1 construction companies, projects that they are involved in include:

· Major Earth works

· Water mains

· Car parks

· Creek rehabilitation

· Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, you will be actively involved in all facets of tender preparation, including:

Quantity take-offs and assessment

Project programming and planning

Pricing and first principles cost estimating

Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers

Preparing estimating reports and managing post-submission queries

Working within a small, collaborative team, you will gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of civil projects.

About You:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a civil construction estimating role

A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

The right to work in Australia

A background in engineering or construction project delivery

Strong leadership attributes and effective communication skills
