We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team for afternoon & sleepover shifts only. This position offers night-shift work supporting a client with complex behaviors and high care needs, suited to those committed to delivering quality care.

As a valued member of our team, you'll be supporting individuals with disabilities to remain safe, comfortable and supported in their homes overnight, including providing personal care and assistance with evening/morning routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide afternoon & overnight sleepover support in a home-based setting

Assist with personal care, mobility, and bedtime/morning routines

Support clients with high care needs

Ensure safety and comfort throughout the night

Domestic duties and medication

Follow detailed support plans and documentation procedures

Please Note: Any sleepover can turn into an Active.

About You:

Previous experience in disability, aged care or personal support roles

Comfortable delivering personal care and working independently

Able to support complex mental and physical diagnosis's

Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, mental health conditions, and high physical care needs

Calm, reliable and capable of managing emergency situations if they arise

Professional, empathetic, and person-centred in your approach

Minimum 12 months previous experience in disability, aged care or personal support roles

Shifts:

Afternoon Shift = 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Sleepover Shift = 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Please note: Weekend availability is essential. To be considered for the role, you must be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays. Additional weekday shifts are also available.

Essential Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR certification (valid)

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or similar (preferred)

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or Aged Care (preferred but not essential with relevant experience)

Working With Children Check

Full COVID-19 vaccination (in line with health directives)

Driver's licence and own reliable transport

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa with unrestricted work rights
