Stage School Australia is looking to appoint a permanent part-time Venue Manager to manage our rehearsal venues. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team!
Stage School Australia is one of Australia’s largest performing arts organisations, specialising in providing training for young people aged 4 to 18 years. With 40 years of legacy, 30 venues across Melbourne and Brisbane, over 6,000 students, and a faculty of 200+, Stage School Australia is the industry leader in its field.
Stage School Venue Managers are provided with a vehicle and all required equipment to run the rehearsals. Rehearsals are conducted during Government School terms and outside school hours. Classes are generally run between 4.00pm and 9.30pm weeknights and 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday.

THIS BUSY, VARIED AND EXCITING ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
· Front line customer service - being the face of Stage School at the venues and liaising with staff, students, and parents.
· Event management, including set up of equipment and rooms and timetable implementation.
· Occupational health & safety coordination at venues.
· Administrative tasks associated with the running of venues.
This role manages 3-4 rehearsal venues per week during weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, as well as occasional Sunday workshop shifts (approx. 1 per school term). Additionally, Venue Managers work at our Head Office in Coburg 1 day a week and during school holidays.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Enthusiastic and highly motivated, with a strong capacity to show initiative and be proactive.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including a positive and approachable demenour
· High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly, effectively and professionally.
· Highly organised, prepared and attentive to detail
· Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate.
· Demonstrated time and self-management skills.
· A professional outlook and appearance.
· A Working with Children Check
· Current driver's license

$57,600 – $60,800 per annum (pro rata for 30.4 hours per week), plus superannuation.
