Xavier College is seeking a dedicated and skilled ICT/Audio Visual Support Officer to join our team. Supporting staff and students across our multi-campus College, you will be pivotal in maintaining seamless ICT operations while delivering expert audio visual support aligned with Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) standards, policies, and procedures.
We are looking for someone with technical expertise and service-focused mindset to support our growing community that values innovation, collaboration and excellence in learning.
As a permanent, full-time ICT/Audio Visual Support Officer, you will:
Provide AV support for PA Systems, Sound/hearing Systems, Auditorium Systems, Music Lighting and sound systems and Video conferencing / online meetings
Deliver prompt and effective ICT support addressing hardware, software and audio-visual system issues
Monitor, maintain and upgrade ICT and AV hardware and software
Perform repairs and routine maintenance on ICT and audio-visual devices
Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and ensure security compliance
Respond to and escalate cybersecurity incidents appropriately
Support IT security policies and ensure user compliance
Provide technical support for events such as Masses, performances, assemblies and parent evenings
Assist staff in using audio-visual technologies, including virtual reality tools
Contribute to application programming to enhance system functionality and user experience
Ensure compliance with WHS policies, practices and priorities
