About the role
Snowy River Holiday Park is seeking a dedicated Holiday Park Assistant Manager to join their team in Dalgety, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the holiday park.
What you'll be doing
Drive all aspects of the holiday park's operations, including guest services, facilities maintenance, product upgrades, and staff supervision with the support of head office management.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue and occupancy rates
Manage the booking system, ensure accurate record-keeping, and handle financial transactions
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the holiday park's facilities, amenities, and grounds
Supervise and train the holiday park's team of customer service and maintenance staff
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Ideally having 3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Manager or Supervisory role within the hospitality or tourism industry, however training and support will be provided for those outside the industry or with relevant qualifications who wish to upskill into a management role
Passion for outdoor and adventure based holidays and to provide tourist information on local attractions and activities
Values rural and regional natural landscapes
Driven to maintain environmental safety and security for the park, community and protection of habitats of native animals as well as the Snowy River ecosystem
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
Confident in using CRM, Property Management Systems (RMS) booking and record-keeping systems (Xero or similar), as well as Microsoft Office suite (training also provided)
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations pertaining to the hospitality industry
Hold or willing to obtain First Aid & CPR Certificate
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in Australia
