About the role
SA Pathology is seeking an enthusiastic Medical Scientist to join our regional laboratory team in Port Lincoln. In this vital role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, multi-disciplinary diagnostic services, including haematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine. You will support specimen collection, analysis and reporting, ensuring accurate results are delivered to clinicians and patients within required timeframes.
This role offers the unique opportunity to gain skills across multiple disciplines, with comprehensive training and mentoring provided. About You
We are looking for a motivated individual with a genuine interest in pathology services and a readiness to contribute to a multi-skilled regional laboratory team.
Degree in Medical Science or equivalent, eligible for professional recognition.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to follow procedures and deliver accurate, timely results.
Appointment is subject to vaccination and clearance requirements, including current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance.
Experience is preferred but not essential – full training across all disciplines will be provided.*
