The Dry Dock Public House and Dining Room is a premium hospitality venue delivering a high-quality and considered product and customer experience. Following a milestone venue renovation in 2023, we have quickly established ourselves as a standout Balmain dining and drinking destination for both locals and visitors alike.
The Dry Dock Kitchen is led by Head Chef, Ben Sitton, a highly respected and hatted chef with of over 30 years’ experience across industry leading venues. Enjoy working with new equipment in a state-of-the-art kitchen, including our feature Josper wood fired oven and charcoal grill.

The Role:
Assist the Head Chef and Pastry chef with menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Support the pastry team to maintain high standards and consistency of product.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
Participate in the development of new menu items and special events.
About You:
At least 2 years of experience as a pastry Chef de Partie in a similar kitchen.
a passion for pastry and a willingness to learn and grow.
Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various pastry techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
