About the Role
Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. Our well-established facility includes 65 rehabilitation beds, a hydrotherapy pool, and fully equipped gyms, providing care for patients on their rehabilitation journey.
As an Administration Officer, you will play a vital front-line role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will support our clinical and Allied Health teams with a wide range of administrative duties, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
Respond to enquiries promptly and effectively, in person, by phone and email
Deliver accurate and timely administrative support to the Clinical Unit and Allied Health teams
Maintain patient records and hospital systems with a high level of attention to detail
Collaborate with other administrative staff to support daily hospital operations
About You:
Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week Monday to Friday.
A passion for delivering excellent customer service and supporting patient care
Professional communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in healthcare administration or a customer-facing role preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems (or willingness to learn)
