We are seeking Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our Practice Nurse team.

Glebe Hill Family Practice and GHFP Nurture are busy, growing General Practices providing high quality services to an expanding team of GP's and Allied Health Professionals, and to their patients.

We're looking for a friendly, professional, reliable, and energetic team member who can adapt and integrate quickly and efficiently into our healthcare support team. Ideally you are able to work full days and a roster of at least 24 hours per week.

Our nursing roster covers 8:30 - 5:30 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

All Practice Nurse duties, including:

triage and patient assessment

chronic conditions management (Care Plans, Health Assessments, Diabetes Reviews and Asthma Reviews)

treatment room nursing, including wound care, ECG, spirometry, immunisation and injections

surgical assisting (minor procedures and IUD insertions)

Previous experience in general practice nursing and experience in Best Practice is highly desirable, but not essential. We feel that having the right people with the right attitude is most important.
