Registered Nurse – Cosmetic Medicine (Launceston)

Permanent Part-Time | Career Pathway into Aesthetic Nursing

Sanctum Medical Aesthetics Launceston is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse with at least 12 months post-graduation experience who is passionate about skin health, patient care, and the art of aesthetics.

While prior cosmetic experience is not required, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the aesthetic industry, a strong focus on patient experience, and a willingness to undertake further training and education.
On-site training and mentoring will be provided, with pay determined by prior level of experience or training in cosmetic nursing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient consultations and assist in developing personalised treatment plans

Provide cosmetic and skin treatments in a safe, professional, and effective manner

Collaborate closely with physicians, dermal therapists, and administrative staff

Maintain high standards of clinical care, infection control, and documentation

Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver an exceptional client experience

Contribute to the daily operations and smooth running of the clinic

Qualifications & Skills

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (minimum 12 months post-graduation)

Strong clinical and communication skills

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Excellent attention to detail, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Passion for aesthetics, wellness, and exceptional patient outcomes

Desirable (but not essential)

Basic Life Support certification

Laser Safety Certificate (can be completed once in role)

Prior exposure to or interest in cosmetic injectables, skin, or dermatology
