We’re known for producing high-quality, compliant switchboards, delivering excellent customer service, and providing innovative solutions for the most complex requirements. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Electrical Switchboard Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in our expansion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive estimates across a wide range of switchboard projects. This role involves:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

Liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and contractors

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements

Ensuring estimates align with AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000, and Victorian SIRs

Supporting sales and engineering teams with technical input

Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing

Delivering estimates within deadlines to support business growth

About You

You’re a motivated estimator with 2–5 years of experience in switchboards or the electrical contracting industry. You have:

Strong knowledge of switchboard construction, compliance standards, and industry practices

Proficiency with estimating tools and Excel (SimPRO or similar an advantage)

The ability to interpret drawings and technical documents

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
