Nurse Next Door is on the lookout for a highly passionate, dedicated and well-rounded Enrolled Nurse to join our team in the role of 'Care Ambassador'.
Operating in a homecare environment, you'll play an active role in the day-to-day delivery of care to our clients, ensuring they are safe and happy in their own homes. You'll liaise with potential clients, contribute to the creation of individualised care plans, and build professional relationships that support the business.

We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing care options to those in the aged care and disability sector, ranging from 24/7 care to one hour visits for wound care or diabetes management. Your new role as Care Ambassador
Reporting to our Managing Director, you will be a member of our local leadership team, working alongside our Care Designer(s), Care Co-ordinator, and Chief Operating Officer.
As Care Ambassador, your role will not be boring; it is both diverse and full of opportunities to learn and Making Lives Better®. You will meet with clients in their home, facilitate Caring Consults, develop individualised care plans, introduce staff to clients, undertake Supervisory Visits and ensure the highest quality of service is being provided at all times.

You will have 3+ years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
Experience in homecare, community nursing, or aged care settings is highly desirable

You live on the northside of Brisbane and ideally, within our operating territory (i.e. Brisbane North West).

Job Requirements
AHPRA Registration
Enrolled Nurse (EN)
CPR & First Aid Certification
Current Queensland Drivers License (i.e. open and unrestricted)
National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
Working With Children Check ('Blue Card')
Disability Workers Scheme ('Yellow Card')
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain if working with NDIS participants)
Current flu vaccination
This full time position requires some flexibility and availability to work occasional
evenings, weekends and on-call as required.
Medication administration qualification or demonstrated experience in medication management
Australian citizenship or permanent residency/valid work visa with unrestricted work rights
