About the role

This is a full-time Case Officer role based in Canberra with IRARA, a provider of immigration support services. As a Case Officer, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, tailored support to migrants in the community.

What you'll be doing

Manage a caseload of clients, providing individual support and intervention to promote positive outcomes

Conduct assessments to identify client needs and implement appropriate plans

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate service delivery and facilitate access to required support and resources

Maintain detailed case notes and records in accordance with organizational and program requirements

Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery through feedback and participation in team meetings

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, preferably in the community services sector

Minimum 1-2 years of case officer or case management experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a complex caseload

Commitment to upholding ethical principles
