Our client is a well-established Tier-2 commercial builder known for delivering complex institutional and education projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality and collaboration, they’re now seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver a landmark $30 million education development in inner Melbourne.

The Opportunity
Join the project team as an Assistant PM, supporting delivery from procurement through to handover. You’ll work alongside an experienced Project Manager and gain exposure to every stage of a landmark build featuring state-of-the-art learning spaces, specialist labs and community facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day site and office coordination
• Monitor program, budget and contract compliance plus cost control
• Oversee subcontractor scopes, variations and progress claims
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities
• Maintain strict OH&S and quality standards

About You

• 4+ years of commercial construction experience (Senior Contract Admin or Site Manager background)
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
