Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, ensuring timely delivery of compliance and advisory services.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and management reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing training and support to drive their development.
• Assist partners in business advisory work including structuring, tax planning, cashflow management, and strategic advice.
• Manage client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for value-add services.
• Review workpapers and ensure compliance with current legislation and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
• 4–7 years’ experience in business services/tax within public practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounting, tax, and compliance.
• Leadership skills with prior experience reviewing junior staff work.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ambition to step into a Manager role in the near term.
