Description
Genus Infrastructure (NSW) is seeking applications for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator! Immediate start, so you are provided with a comprehensive handover.

From transmission lines and substations to communications solutions and renewable energy, we're proud to design, construct, and maintain the critical infrastructure that keeps Australia moving forward.

The Project: HumeLink East
Genus Infrastructure (NSW), in partnership with Acciona, is proud to be delivering the HumeLink East project—part of a $1.4 billion joint venture. This major initiative involves the construction of 237 km of 500 kV transmission lines between Bannaby and Wondalga in NSW, along with enhancements to the Bannaby substation.

This project is a vital component of the broader HumeLink development, designed to boost grid capacity, support Snowy 2.0, and facilitate the integration of renewable energy across NSW. Construction commenced early in 2025, with completion expected between 2026 and 2027. It will create approximately 1,600 jobs and include a $2 million investment in local communities, with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and stakeholder collaboration.

The Role
Based out of the Joint Venture office near Haymarket, he Senior Contract Administrator will play a key role in providing expert contract administration support and strategic guidance to project teams, ensuring full compliance with contract terms and driving optimal project performance. This is a senior-level position suited to a highly motivated and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex commercial arrangements.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in contracts, commercial/business law, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior commercial or contract management role
  • Proven ability to manage complex contracts and high-value projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
  • Advanced analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • High level of commercial insight and strategic thinking
  • Experience with cost-plus and risk-reward contract arrangements involving major contractors
  • Sound knowledge of Australian standards and legislation related to quality, WHS, risk management, environmental protection, construction, and security of payments
