This newly created role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement within a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting Queensland communities.

This is a short-term temporary assignment. Possibility of permanency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end reporting, preparing dashboards that consolidate P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow data.
• Deliver performance reports for multi-site operations and provide variance analysis.
• Analyse complex datasets (5–6 connected tables) to provide meaningful business insights.
• Partner with the finance team to identify and deliver process improvements.
• Develop scalable reporting tools with clear process documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, dashboards, charts).
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to consolidate financial and operational data into meaningful reports.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insights to both finance and non-finance staff.
• Experience with Xero.
• Background in Finance/Accounting (Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, or Reporting Analyst).
