Overview of role:
The Asset Maintenance Manager leads the development and delivery of asset maintenance strategies, systems, and processes across Coliban Water. This role ensures the effectiveness, reliability, and resilience of the organisation’s assets by implementing risk-based maintenance practices, monitoring performance and reporting, and maintaining high-quality asset data. The role also drives the growth and capability of the Asset Maintenance team, supporting Coliban Water’s strategic and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Asset Maintenance Manager, you’ll be accountable for:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve sound asset management strategies and systems within the organisation.
- Lead the planning, review, and performance measurement of outsourced operations and maintenance, establishing KPIs and leveraging partner expertise to support strategic asset management goals.
- Building and developing the asset management team’s capacity and capability to ensure a high performing team that can integrate with internal and external teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and investment plans, advising senior leaders and the board on asset performance, capital needs, and future infrastructure requirements
About you:
- Extensive working knowledge and experience relating to asset management in asset centric environments.
- Specialist knowledge and skills relating to - Whole of asset lifecycle management, focusing on maintenance, Asset risk and portfolio investment, Asset data information systems.
- A tertiary degree in Engineering (desirable)

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $$115,162 – $139,851 Plus Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.

Coliban Water was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority.
Coliban Region Water Authority became the Coliban Region Water Corporation on July 1, 2007.
The Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Water, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, and our shareholder is the Victorian Government.
We are one of the larger Victorian Regional urban water corporations.
We manage, maintain and operate 35 reservoirs and water storage basins across North-Central Victoria and provide water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,550 sqkm.
