An exciting opportunity exists for a career minded hospitality professional to join Marion Holiday Park as our Food and Beverage Assistant.

We have an established Bar/Kitchen within our outdoor beer garden which also includes an outdoor cinema screen.

This is a casual position (approx. 20 hours per week) where the successful candidate will work shifts across a 7-day roster. The premises open for dinner in off-peak times and additionally for lunch in peak periods (during school holidays). Availability during weekends and school holidays is a requirement.

You will ideally come from a cafe/ small bar operations background, having worked in previous fast paced environments. Candidates with an excellent knowledge of food safety and food preparation will have a distinct advantage.

Essential requirements for this role:

Experience working in busy café/ bar operations, this includes food prep and cooking

Minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality

Must be an Australian resident

RSA (essential) and Responsible Person (desirable) or willingness to obtain both

Bright, energetic and motivated with a willing to get in and get the job done attitude

Experience with cash handling and ordering and rotating stock

Knowledge of OH&S / WHS

High level of personal presentation

Speak fluent English
