About the Role
The Exams and Results team based in Student and Academic Services are seeking expressions of interest for casual Online Exam Assistants.
The Online Exam Assistant undertakes the review of student invigilated online exam videos and associated administration tasks. This work requires a high level of computer and organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Please note, in order to manage conflicts of interest, you must not be currently studying at diploma level or higher at a registered training organisation or Australian University and must not have a relative or close friend currently studying with the University of South Australia.

Responsibilities
- Complete review of student invigilated online exam videos for the purposes of exam integrity compliance, including the preparation of confidential incident and breach reports and video review reconciliation processes
- Using the exams management system, complete data entry of reports and maintain, monitor, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key staff to develop efficient and consistent practices
Selection Criteria
- Proven ability to apply knowledge and skills in administration including high level of computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, administrative information systems and electronic communication systems
- Demonstrated organisational skills including experience in meeting deadlines, making decisions, and taking action in line with prescribed procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both with minimal supervision and as part of a team in the provision of high-quality customer service
- Demonstrated diligence and integrity to manage the security of confidential and restricted documentation and information in accordance with work procedures
