This is a rare chance to own a diverse HR portfolio spanning WA, NT, SA, while enjoying the support of a collaborative People & Safety team.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proven HR Business Partner who thrives as a true generalist. Someone equally comfortable on the ground coaching site managers as you are advising executives. You’ll be the go-to partner for ~110 employees across 10+ sites, driving HR initiatives, embedding culture, and lifting leader capability.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders in operations, sales and onsite services, building trust and influencing change post recent acquisitions. With a mix of strategic projects and hands-on ER, you’ll directly impact retention, leadership development, and wellbeing initiatives.

What You’ll Do
Partner with Regional & GM-level stakeholders to deliver pragmatic HR solutions.
Coach managers to build recruitment, ER and performance management capability.
Manage employee lifecycle processes (contracts, onboarding, ELMO workflows).
Lead ER cases, investigations, and probations with discipline and fairness.
Contribute to national PSC projects in retention, wellbeing, DEI and leadership pathways.
Occasionally support safety (investigations/RTW) alongside HSE.
What You Bring
5+ years as a HRBP/Advisor in industrial, blue-collar, retail or logistics environments.
Proven record of influencing line leaders and building trust in challenging contexts.
Strong ER and case management hygiene; confident with investigations.
Hands-on TA experience (job ads, offers, contracts, onboarding).
Pragmatic style – balances being strategic with rolling up sleeves.
Bonus: Safety, DEI or LMS project exposure; familiarity with ELMO.
Package & Workstyle
Salary: Circa $140k base + 12% Super
Location: Melbourne HQ (preferred, with hybrid 3/2 after first month) OR Perth base (with 1–2 WFH days after onboarding).
Travel: VIC-based – 2 WA trips/year + initial immersion. WA-based site visits as needed.
