MECHANIC AND/OR GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN - GSE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance to Company and Customer equipment including petrol and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, airport GSE, access stands, trailers etc

• Welding of steel and aluminium equipment using mig and tig methods

• Being responsible for your work and your environment

• Liaise with Customer representatives, keep informed all stakeholders and take records of all maintenance actions

• Participate in inventory procurement and control

Experience/Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in an aircraft maintenance environment of any description, i.e. Component Shop, Engine Shop, GA or GSE Workshop etc (preferred)

• The ability to follow instructions, as well as consistently motivate and work with your team for successful outcomes

• Strong communication skills, and the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholder groups

• Strong computer skills & literacy

• 4 years work experience in similar role (preferred)
