On & Off Road 4x4 is an area landmark, specialist, one stop 4 wheel drive service and repair facility. In addition they carry out modifications, accessory fitting and diesel performance work. They are seeking an additional fully qualified Mechanic or Technician to join their team. The business is owner operated and offers variety of work. Busy workshop, plenty of work available. A good income and a friendly working environment. The business trades Monday to Friday only. Weekly staff BBQ.

Applicants for this position ideally will have experience gained on modern 4x4 vehicles, but this is not mandatory. You must be fully qualified, be a reliable self starter and be seeking a long term position. You will have strong diagnostic abilities and be confident using modern electronic diagnostic tools. Recent graduates on Temporary Resident visas are NOT suitable for this position.

Recent Dealership workshop experience and/or Manufacturers technical product training on any Major brand and its associated 4x4 models extremely highly regarded.

Salary on offer is $40 per hour (depending on previous experience), plus super. Overtime will be available and a $5k sign-on bonus is offered, payable over 2 years.
