About the Project
Our client is about to commence a purpose-built commercial showroom on Brisbane's northside. Backed by an experienced team and strong project support, this development will be delivered under a well-structured program, offering the chance to contribute to a high-quality project that will stand out in the region.
Upon completion, the team will transition in early 2026 to a significant $17m multi-dwelling development in Taigum, further cementing their pipeline of high-value work.
About the Role
We are seeking a capable and proactive Site-Based Contract Administrator to join the team in North Brisbane. You'll work directly on site, supporting both the Site Manager and Construction Manager to ensure smooth project delivery from procurement to handover. This is a true all-rounder role where you'll play a key part in keeping the project on track, managing the contract, and supporting day-to-day site activities.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Preparing and issuing purchase orders to suppliers and trades
Assisting with managing the head contract, including issuing extensions of time, pricing and submitting variations
Assisting with budgets, cost forecasts, and tracking project financials
Preparing and sending quote requests and subcontractor agreements
Liaising with the client and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication
Supporting the Construction Manager with contract administration and general project coordination
Assisting with program and progress reporting as required
About You
You're a practical and detail-oriented team player who enjoys variety in your day-to-day work.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in contract administration and/or estimating within commercial, volume residential or multi-dwelling projects
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven contract administration experience
Essential experience in both contract administration and estimating disciplines
Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontractor agreements
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with trades and suppliers
Proficiency with project financials, budgets, and cost tracking
Working knowledge level proficiency required in project financials and cost tracking systems
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks on a busy site
Must have own reliable transport and be able to work on site full time
