LOOKING FOR Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Developmental Educators, Psychologists and Social Workers

All must be willing to do face to face work, with children and adolescents in our clubhouse environments.

Locations: Pimpama and Greenbank, QLD. We are looking for practitioners happy to work seperate days across BOTH locations.

Must be available at times listed, with DEFINITE availability in the after school session time of 3:30pm to 5:30pm Monday to Fridays (or on the days that you’re able to work).

🍃 TEC Therapies & Allied Health is Australia’s largest autistic-led service provider for neurodivergent youth with clubhouses at Greenbank and Pimpama, offering small group, play based, child led therapy sessions involving fun activities and real life relationship building with neurokin.

We have been operating as a leading provider in the QLD ND community for over 5 years with a focus on supporting the next generation of autistics to live their best lives. We view neurodivergence as a valuable culture in society and continue to create spaces where ND youth and families can flourish.

🤩 Our clubhouses are fully equipped with sensory support items, eg. Cloud sacs, fidget toys, dimmable lights and decorative coloured lights and an assortment of activities and cooking ingredients.

👏🏼In-house training programs are offered with ongoing support from Directors and a strong team ethos. You will be working with a range of allied health professionals, many of whom are ND themselves.

🌈Your role would be to participate in and lead small group sessions from one or more of our clubhouses with the assistance of Therapy Assistants as well as see clients 1:1.

💫We value neurodivergent affirming practice and reject ABA due to its damaging nature. We DO NOT teach social skills, but celebrate and support our youth with their own unique social skills and needs. We also promote the development of social tolerance.

💓 We work closely with two ‘sister’ companies, Instinct AU (Behavioural support, PBSP’S) and DivergAntz (diagnostics and assessments, allied health team)and are part of a strong ND Affirming collective. Positions may be available with these companies for the right candidates.

🔎 Who We’re Looking For:

Available 3:30pm to 5:30pm Monday to Friday’s. Days can be negotiated, but a preference exists for those happy to work on Friday’s and Saturday’s on at least a fortnightly basis.

Passionate Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Developmental Educators or Social Workers with relevant registration with their professional body.

Individuals committed to advocacy and providing sensitive, affirming care to all clients.

Those eager to collaborate and innovate.

Pay rate is dependent on experience and qualifications and may exceed $98/hour.

We are open to setting up individual arrangements but we work strictly under a Contractor model.
