WHO WE ARE
Rogue Bistro is Newstead's OG neighbourhood restaurant offering a relaxed 5-course degustation menu that changes monthly. Known for our range of dego menus that cater to most dietary requirements, we aim to focus on simple food executed with precision that features the best of local and seasonal produce. We pride ourselves on implementing a vast range of cooking techniques, challenging each menu to improve on the last.
Right next door, we run our sister venue, The Refinery, one of Brisbane’s best wedding venues. Across both spaces, our team brings years of hospitality and event experience to deliver food and service at the highest level.
Across both venues we are a tight-knit team that hustles with the goal of being the best in everything we do, but most importantly maintaining a friendly work environment and a positive work culture.
THE ROLES
We're looking for a 2x Senior Apprentices/Commis Chefs (for an immediate start) to join our dream team at both venues who are:
Keen to stay long term and grow with us
Organised and efficient with attention to detail
Professional and well-presented
Friendly and great communicators
Available to work 5 days between Tuesday-Sunday (roster depending on venue)
REQUIREMENTS
Efficient in general prep duties
Capable in running a section
Go-getter attitude, eager to learn
PAY & PERKS
Between $60-70k per annum + Super (pending experience/role/venue)
Staff meals included
Shared kitchen tips
Personal locker & dedicated staff room amenities for breaks
Annual 2 week closure over Christmas
