Check Pass has a wide variety of customers and technology in need of servicing. The equipment consists of instrumentation and mechanical machines. Some examples of the machines:

Blet Scales

Coriolis Flow Meters

Rotary Valves

Screw Feeders

Petrol and Diesel Engines

As the first employee of our new dedicated service team, you'll need to be a jack of all trades, although a trade qualification is not a requirement, a mechanical or instrumentation qualification would be an advantage.

Requirements

Previous experience in service, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Strong technical skills and mechanical plus controls aptitude.

A relevant Trade Qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Excellent computer and technology skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A valid driver's license.

Be willing and able to work across trades including doing some admin in downtime.

Be willing to travel semi regularly, Australia wide.

Be able to pass a Cat 3 Rail medical assessment.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment service, repair, and maintenance.

Must hold a valid Class C (car) Australian driver's licence.

Must have current Australian work authorisation at time of application.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site and workshop-based service, inspection, routine maintenance, repair, of industrial equipment. Fault finding and problem solving is a daily requirement.

Provide prompt and efficient customer service to our diverse client base across Australia, but mostly within the greater Hunter region.

Complete service reports, order parts, schedule works.

Ensure compliance with site safety rules.

Perform some admin and computer based tasks in downtime.
