About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll maintain and service compactors, balers, and other specialised recycling equipment. Beyond repairs, you’ll have the opportunity to feed insights back into engineering teams, directly shaping the next generation of equipment.

No formal qualifications required – we value hands-on experience, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills over certificates.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and breakdown response

Fault-finding, diagnostics, and on-site repairs of recycling equipment

Deliver professional, timely service to clients

Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve products

Occasionally manage subcontractors on installations

Skills & Experience

Full Australian work rights (mandatory)

Strong mechanical aptitude with diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Field service experience in automotive, diesel, mining, or equipment hire

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally (company vehicle provided)

Safety-conscious, reliable, and confident in client-facing work

No formal qualifications required – hands-on experience is key

Overtime available (average 5–6 hrs/week) with penalty rates

On-call roster (1 in 6 weeks, +$140/week allowance)
