The Jabiru Golf Club is at the heart of the Kakadu community, providing a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Chef to lead our small kitchen team and deliver quality, honest food to our members and guests.

This is not your average chef job. We offer a Full Time (38 hour week) lifestyle-friendly roster, heavily subsidised accommodation, and the chance to live and work in the stunning surroundings of Kakadu National Park.

We are also in the process of re-branding and re-launching our kitchen with a streamlined, consistent menu. The incoming Chef will play a key role in this transition period, working closely with and supported by the Club Committee to shape the offering and set the standard for the future.

The Role

As the Club’s Chef, you will be responsible for:

Leading the kitchen operations with support from a kitchen hand.

Preparing and serving dinner four nights a week and one lunch service.

Managing the transition to a new, streamlined menu that suits a club environment, with committee support during the re-branding and relaunch phase.

Managing stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen.

Bringing creativity, consistency, and a positive team culture to the club.
