Operating locally in Mackay for over 70 years, Forsyths Accounting Services is well known across the Accounting Industry and is seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant for our Mackay office, to provide high level Tax & Business advisory services to a diverse range of clientele Australia wide.

Qualifications & experience (preferred but not essential)

Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Business or similar

CPA / CA qualifications, or currently completing

Accounting & Taxation Experience in a public practice firm with exposure to all types of entities including Individual, Companies and Trusts

An appetite to develop and learn new skills, and an attention to detail in your work

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent computing skills and an eagerness to progress in the Cloud

Experience with Intuit, MYOB, Reckon and Xero for Client Accounting

Tasks & responsibilities

Ongoing Management of a Portfolio of Clients

Deliver Client advisory services, including Tax Planning

Preparation of compliance for Individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts

Reporting to the Partners

Strong commitment to quality services and Client relationships.
