Intermediate & Senior Accountants – Brisbane CBD
$75,000 – $95,000 + Superannuation

Stonefish Careers is currently representing a leading firm in Brisbane’s CBD that is seeking Intermediate and Senior Accountants to join their team. These roles offer the chance to work across a diverse client base, gain exposure to both compliance and broader advisory projects, and develop your career in a supportive environment.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and related work for companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and individuals.

Working directly with clients providing timely and professional advice.

Supporting advisory assignments such as business structuring, tax planning, cash flow analysis and management reporting.

Getting exposure to special projects beyond compliance work, including commercial and strategic advisory.

Reviewing and mentoring junior team members.

Managing workflow to ensure deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.

About You

Degree-qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.

CA/CPA qualified, or currently undertaking studies.

Intermediate Accountant: 2+ years’ public practice experience.

Senior Accountant: 3–5+ years’ public practice experience.

Strong technical skills in accounting and Australian taxation.

Excellent communicator who is proactive, personable, and results-focused.

A collaborative team player who values professionalism, confidentiality, and client service excellence.
